Derek Larkin

Derek Larkin is an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) developer currently working at CarShield since October 2023. Previously, Derek held the position of Senior Data Engineer, BI at Overstock from April 2018 to August 2023, where responsibilities included managing finance reporting's month-end close process and providing BI support. At L3Harris Technologies, from January 2011 to April 2018, Derek advanced through roles including Senior Business Intelligence Developer and Lead Test Engineer, demonstrating expertise in data analysis, report creation, and testing initiatives. Earlier experience includes serving as a Test Engineer in the United States Air Force, where skills in technical alterations and test stand design consultation were developed. Derek holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and two Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Engineering Technology and Electrical Engineering Technology, all from Weber State University.
