Leanne Ball

Leanne Ball has a diverse work experience in various data and analytics roles. In 2013, they were a Customer Supply Chain Intern at ConAgra Foods, where they integrated new reporting metrics and developed informational documents. In 2014, they worked as a Master Data Analyst Intern at ConAgra Foods. From 2015 to 2016, they held roles as an Associate Business Systems Analyst and an Associate Master Data Analyst at ConAgra Foods, where they managed incident resolution, facilitated regression testing, and served as a liaison between business users and technical development teams. In 2016, Leanne joined Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska as a Data Governance Software Engineer and later became a Technical Lead for Data Governance. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Technical Analyst and a Product Owner & Data Analytics Engineer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska. Currently, Leanne holds the position of Director of Data Architect at Carson Group, where they started in 2020, and in October 2023, they were promoted to the Vice President of Data & Analytics.

Leanne Ball has a Master's Degree in Statistics from Texas A&M University, which they obtained from 2016 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Sociology from Nebraska Wesleyan University, completing their studies from 2012 to 2015. Leanne also attended South Dakota Mines in 2011 and obtained additional certifications such as the "Cassandra Data Modeling Essential Training" from LinkedIn in 2021 and the "SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9" from SAS in 2016. Leanne also participated in the "Advanced Tech Leaders Academy" from the AIM Institute.
