Melissa Williams has extensive experience in revenue cycle management. Melissa started their career as an Application Analyst at Barton Memorial Hospital in 2001 and worked there until 2008. Melissa then joined Renown Health and held positions as a Revenue Cycle Supervisor and Financial Analyst III from 2008 to 2010. In 2011, they joined Carson Valley Medical Center as a Revenue Integrity Program Manager, where they worked until 2015. Currently, Melissa serves as the Director of Revenue Cycle at Carson Tahoe Health, a position they have held since 2015.
Melissa Williams holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Western Governors University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno, with an emphasis in Accounting and Information Systems. In addition to their academic achievements, Melissa also obtained the certification of CHC - Certified in Healthcare Compliance from the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) in April 2015.
