Abid Aslam

Abid Aslam has worked as a Software Engineer at CarSwitch since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at Insights360 from 2020 to 2021, where they were a core team member and backend lead of the e-commerce system and managed the production environment including databases. Abid also learned the cloud-based services, different design patterns in Laravel, RESTful APIs, Node Js, Git, and version control. From 2020 to 2021, Abid was a Software Engineer at Aodour (Pvt.) Ltd, where they developed and maintained an E-commerce system with the team and worked on Complaints Management System as a Team Lead. Abid also enhanced existing skills in Laravel and learned about Service Providers by integrating different APIs. In 2019, Abid worked as a Freelance Developer, working on different ongoing and new projects for different clients around the globe mostly from the USA. Abid also worked with different types of servers for application deployment. In 2018, Abid was a Career Prep Fellowship at Amal Academy, where they completed a competitive written application and interview process to be selected from over 3500+ applicants for an intensive 3-month Fellowship and invested 150 hours to develop business skills.

Abid Aslam obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Government College University (GCU), Lahore in 2019. In the same year, they also obtained a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification from Corvit Network.
