Usman Munir

Usman Munir has worked as a Software Engineer at CarSwitch since 2021. At CarSwitch, a Gulf-based automotive platform, he has played a vital role in backend development, system optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. Usman contributed to key features, including multilingual support via Strapi, dealer car import automation, WhatsApp notifications integration, and Zoho CRM connectivity. He also improved system performance through caching strategies (Redis, Cloudflare), query optimization, and robust logging and monitoring.

Prior to CarSwitch, Usman worked as a Full Stack Developer at Servixon, a UK-based IT services company, from 2020 to 2021. There, he led Laravel development for multiple solutions, enhanced frontend experiences using JavaScript (jQuery), and contributed to scalable backend architectures using Laravel and Livewire.

In 2019, Usman began his career as a Full Stack Developer Intern at Smart Developers, where he gained hands-on experience in Core PHP and WordPress, contributing to large-scale projects and significantly improving site performance and team collaboration.

Usman holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from The Islamia University of Bahawalpur and has continually developed expertise in technologies such as PHP (Yii2, Laravel), JavaScript (Node.js, React.js), MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Git.
