John Paul Lineberger

John Paul Lineberger is a Clinical Data Scientist at Carta Healthcare since December 2021, where responsibilities include designing and optimizing data pipelines for FHIR data to enhance accuracy and efficiency, as well as mentoring interns in data science methodologies. Lineberger has been a Graduate Research Assistant at Clemson University since April 2019, focusing on medical imaging tools such as automated lung nodule detection and heart valve segmentation. Additional roles include advising an undergraduate team on an open-source fever detection project and collaborating on machine learning applications with various professors. Previous experience includes serving as a Special Project Associate and Lead Technical Writer at NUS Consulting Group, and working on projects with IBM Watson during the tenure with Creative Inquiry. Lineberger holds multiple degrees in Biomedical Data Science and Informatics from Clemson University and the Medical University of South Carolina.
