Brett Richter

Brett Richter is currently an Account Manager for Carta Venture Capital, managing approximately 200 venture capital relationships and focusing on client relations and upsell opportunities. Prior to Carta, Brett served as a Portfolio Associate at Morgan Stanley's Private Wealth Management team after the acquisition from UBS, totaling three years with The Broad Group. Brett's past experience includes roles as a Wealth Strategy Associate and Registered Client Service Associate at UBS, supporting a $500M Private Wealth Management team with various financial services. Early career experience includes internships at Mariner Wealth Advisors and UBS, where work involved asset allocation and wealth planning for ultra-high-net-worth clients. Brett holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business and studied at Anglo-American University in Prague.
