Chester Wong

Chester Wong is an experienced professional in partnerships and business development within the APAC and Middle East regions, currently serving as Partnerships & Business Development Manager at Carta since January 2022. Chester has a strong background in financial markets, having worked as Assistant Director in the Financial Markets Development division of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, focusing on insurtech and insurance-linked securities from August 2019 to December 2021. Prior roles include Senior Assistant Director in the Emerging Markets Division at the Ministry of Trade and Industry, where responsibilities encompassed Singapore’s foreign economic policy related to South Asia and the Middle East, as well as earlier positions in marketing and customer service. Chester holds an MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from the National University of Singapore, complemented by international education in European Studies.
