Rita Astoor

Rita Astoor is a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, teaching Venture Funds: Structuring, Advising, and Regulating since January 2023. Rita has extensive experience in venture capital and private equity business development, currently serving as Director and previously as Head of Business Development and Senior Manager at Carta since July 2021. Prior roles include Investment Funds Associate at Latham & Watkins, Corporate Associate at Norton Rose Fulbright, and various positions as a legal intern and summer associate. Rita holds a J.D. from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English, magna cum laude, along with a minor in Global Poverty from the University of California, Berkeley.
