Zach Kauffman

Zach Kauffman is a Staff Engineer at Carta since November 2022, following a tenure as a Software Engineer at Stripe from January 2021 to November 2022. Prior to these roles, Zach served as Head of Engineering at SAY, where responsibilities included engineering resourcing and collaboration, working closely with the Head of Product to develop customer-facing products and integrations. Zach also held the position of Staff Software Engineer at SAY, launching a suite of investor relations products and managing infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes. Earlier experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Sidecar, Technical Co-Founder at MyKickback, and Software Engineer positions at Hotwire Communications and Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote. Zach earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
