Tanya Ferreiro has extensive experience in training, development, and recruitment within the nonprofit sector, primarily at Carter BloodCare since December 2006, where roles have included Training & Development Coordinator, Donor Management Systems Coordinator, Community Events Coordinator, and Field Consultant/Recruiter. In these positions, Tanya has been responsible for designing and delivering training programs, enhancing staffing strategies, and supporting blood drives. Prior experience includes leadership roles in sales management and marketing, with positions at Two Sisters Gourmet, CenterLogix Technology Group, and Tupperware, focusing on recruitment and training of sales teams. Education was pursued at the University of North Texas in 1993-1994.

About Carter BloodCare We save lives by making transfusion possible. Carter BloodCare is an independent, community blood center providing transfusion resources to more than 200 medical facilities in 50-plus counties of North, Central and East Texas. The nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization is one of the largest blood programs in Texas, delivering more than 440,000 blood products annually to meet hospitals’ requirements for their patients. Services include collection, processing, specialized laboratory testing, storage and distribution of blood and blood products.
