Margaret M. Woods

Program Director Cemapp Elder Justice Unit at Carter Burden Network

Margaret M. Woods, LMSW, ASW-G, ACSW, CCM, SIFI is an experienced social worker and educator currently serving as a Practicum Instructor and Adjunct Lecturer at New York University since September 2019. Margaret has held various roles at the Carter Burden Network since November 2015, including Program Director of the CEMAPP Elder Justice Unit and Geriatric Case Manager, focusing on case management services for seniors. Margaret has also been a Clinician at the Metropolitan Center for Mental Health since January 2020. Past experience includes a fellowship with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in palliative and end-of-life care, along with multiple leadership roles and volunteer positions throughout Margaret’s academic career at NYU. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work and additional certifications in Palliative and End of Life Care and Field Instruction, along with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from NYU Stern School of Business.
