Ray Farrell is a founding partner at Carter, DeLuca & Farrell LLP, specializing in Patent, Trademark, and Copyright law since January 2002. With a strong background in intellectual property matters, Ray has also been actively involved in various initiatives, serving as a member of Mentors+Angels and New York Angels, both aimed at supporting early-stage startups. Additionally, Ray chairs the Board of Directors for the Institute for Workforce Advancement and is a founding member of the Long Island BioMentor Initiative. Past roles include advisory board member at the Clean Energy Business Incubator Program and trustee at Molloy College. Ray's legal career began as a patent attorney for the Department of the Navy, with prior experience as a partner at Dilworth & Barrese, LLP and as an engineering representative at Aetna Casualty & Surety. Ray holds a JD from St. John's University School of Law and a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan University.
