Currently serving as Controller at Carter Myers Automotive since August 2022 and as Etsy Shop Owner at Calf Mountain Vintage since April 2023, Austin previously held the position of Controller at Trump Winery and Accounting Manager at Virginia Distillery Co. Throughout the career, responsibilities included organizing financial data, producing accurate reports for strategic decision-making, and maintaining compliance. Educational background includes an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Accounting from Piedmont Virginia Community College and a B.I.S. in Business from Oakland University, complemented by a B.B.A. in Banking & Finance from Northwood University.

Carter Myers Automotive (CMA) is a family and employee-owned business serving Central Virginia since 1924. We have dealerships in Charlottesville, Richmond and Staunton, representing 17 new car brands with more than 3000 new and used vehicles in stock. In 1924, once the assembly line had changed the industry, we reincorporated as Petersburg Motor Company. Our first President was H. Carter Myers. He, his sister and his son kept the business going through the Great Depression and World War II. Our founder's grandson, H. Carter Myers III, joined the company in 1968 and we continued to grow. Today, the 4th generation of the Myers family is our President and CEO. The first woman to lead CMA, Liza Myers Borches has followed in her father's, grandfather's, and great grandfather's footsteps.
