Seth Frost

Seth Frost is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager and Architect at Cartera – A Rakuten Company since January 2012, Seth leads a software team focused on developing the company's Data Intelligence infrastructure. In this role, Seth guides product development for the Data Intelligence Group and oversees various application architectures while utilizing technologies such as Tableau, MySQL, Vertica, Snowflake, Kafka, and Spring Boot. Previous positions include Application Architect and Principal Software Engineer, where Seth managed significant transitions to cloud-based systems and supported legacy transaction processing. Prior to Cartera, Seth held senior engineering roles at Kofax and IBM. Seth holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from Clarkson University.
