Nicole Frost currently serves as the Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Nursing at Carteret Healthcare since February 2023. Previously, Nicole held various roles at Carteret Health Care, including Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner and Nurse Practitioner in Palliative Care/Hospitalist from 2019 to the present. From January 2014 to September 2024, Nicole worked as a Hospitalist at Carolina East Medical Center and served as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner at Crystal Coast Dermatology from June 2014 to May 2019. Nicole's career began at Carteret General Hospital, where roles included RN, Clinical Systems Analyst, and LPN from September 2002 to December 2013. Nicole also contributed to nursing education as a Nursing Instructor at Carteret Community College between January 2009 and May 2013. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Vanderbilt University, a Master's degree in Nursing Education from Indiana State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University, among other credentials.
