Andrew Goodhead

Andrew Goodhead has a wealth of experience in the sales and research industries. Andrew began their career in 2009 as a Senior Research Associate at Newcastle University, where they researched the relationship between microbial diversity of inocula and resulting biodegradation in different environments. In 2010, they moved to Sartorius as an Area Manager, where they sold laboratory products and was awarded Sartorius lab salesperson of the year 2012 with a 30% over target performance. In 2013, they joined Promega Corporation as a Business Development Manager - Applied Markets and Commercial Manager - North, where they were responsible for growing and developing the sales of Promega products into commercial accounts and was awarded Outstanding Growth award for 80% growth in their territory for 2014. Most recently, in 2019, they joined Carterra as a Sales Executive - Europe, where they are responsible for sales of the LSA platform into Europe.

Andrew Goodhead began their educational journey in 1998 when they attended Newcastle University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Zoology. Andrew then went on to earn a Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Engineering from Newcastle University in 2004. Lastly, they received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Newcastle University in 2009.
