Iwan Dijkstra has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Iwan began their career at Mise en Place, where they served as the Head of the Planning Department and later transitioned to the role of Region Manager. Iwan then worked at Human Talent Consultancy Pty Ltd as the Project and Operations Manager for the FIFA World Cup in 2010.
In 2012, Iwan joined Uitgeverij van der Meulen BV as a Business Developer/Internal Start-ups, working on two internal start-ups to tap into new markets. Iwan also took a break to travel and work, exploring South-East Asia and Australia.
In 2013, Iwan became a Member of JCI (Junior Chamber International), a nonprofit organization focused on creating impact within communities. Iwan actively contributed to the organization until 2017.
From 2017 to 2021, Iwan worked at ForgeRock as an Enterprise Sales professional, responsible for the Nordics, Baltics, and Benelux regions. Iwan then joined indyRIOT as the Head of Sales, facilitating the launch of branded and independent online communities for clients.
In 2021, Iwan took on the role of VP Northern Europe at Ayfie, addressing the challenges organizations face in managing data and staying compliant with regulations.
Currently, Iwan is working as a Senior Sales Executive Nordics at Omada, where they assist organizations in developing and implementing robust and efficient Identity Governance and Administration programs. Iwan has received recognition within the company for their outstanding performance.
Throughout their career, Iwan has demonstrated expertise in sales, business development, project management, and operations. Iwan values the importance of community involvement and has actively contributed to organizations like JCI.
Iwan Dijkstra completed their education in a chronological order. Iwan started their education in 1997 at RSG Magister Alvinus, where they studied HAVO and Økonomi og Samfunn until 2002. Then, from 2002 to 2004, they attended Stenden and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Leisure Management. In 2004-2005, they furthered their education at Fontys University of Applied Sciences, earning another Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in International Event, Music, and Entertainment Studies. Additionally, Iwan obtained various certifications, such as Bergenstesten in January 2017 from Folkeuniversitetet ØST, WFT Basis in June 2015 from Autoriteit Financiële Markten, Norskkurs B1&B2 in April 2016 from Folkeuniversitetet ØST, and Buyer Management Bsc. in November 2012 from NHL.
