Senior Software Engineer at Carterra

Bill Grey has over 30 years of professional work experience. Bill began their career in 1991 as a Real Time System Simulation Software Engineer at Boeing Commercial Airplanes, where they developed data collection and simulation systems to test 777 and 737 NG airplane avionics. In 1998, they moved to Philips Broadcast Television Systems as a Software Developer - Media Pool, where they assisted in developing communications from VxWorks hardware to a Windows GUI. In 1999, they joined Cimetrix Inc. as an Engineer III, where they developed requirements and architecture and led a team to deliver the award winning CIMConnect product. Bill then moved up to the role of Engineering Manager, where they architected and lead the development of the award winning CIM300 product. Bill was then promoted to Director of Research and Development, where they lead the development efforts for CIMPortal and CIMControlFramework products. Finally, in 2022, they moved to Carterra as a Senior Software Engineer.

Bill Grey attended the University of Arizona from 1986 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.
