Application Scientist And Technical Support Manager at Carterra

Ira Seferovich has been working in the scientific industry since 2011. Ira began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Boise State University, where they assisted with research on LasI and EsaI enzymes for the development of AHL autoinducer inhibitors involved with quorum sensing (Pseudomonas aeruginosa). In 2013, they joined Sapidyne Instruments Inc. as a Staff Scientist, providing contract measurement services using KinExA technology for equilibrium dissociation constants, association and dissociation rate constants, and on cell measurements to cell surface expressed receptors. Ira also provided global KinExA training and continuous support for the worldwide pharmaceutical industry, as well as developing and testing R&D instrumentation. In 2018, they joined Carterra as an Application Scientist and Technical Support Lead.

Ira Seferovich attended Johnson County Community College from 2005 to 2006, where they studied General Studies. Ira then went on to Boise State University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Molecular Biology from 2008 to 2012.
