Timothy Luong

Timothy Luong is a technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and investment. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at Cartesia since March 2024, Timothy also works as an angel investor focusing on startup ventures primarily in B2B SaaS and AI since 2021. Prior to this, Timothy held various positions at Scale AI from 2022 to 2024, including Staff Software Engineer and Engineering Manager, and contributed to the development of the Scale GenAI Platform. As a founding product engineer at Fractal, Timothy was integral in the company's acquisition by LinkedIn. Additional experience includes roles at Exponent as a Software Engineering Coach, co-founding Teasis, and working at major companies such as Airbnb and Amazon Lab126. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied and Computational Mathematical Sciences from the University of Washington.
