Renske Hortensius

Renske Hortensius is a Junior UX Designer at Carthago ICT since April 2022, focusing on designing user-friendly software for various clients. Prior experience includes working as a Graphic Designer at Persoonlijk Proefschrift from August 2018 to April 2021, where Renske specialized in designing PhD dissertations through effective client communication. Additionally, a master thesis was completed for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines on the implementation and adoption of Virtual Reality technology during a tenure from March 2020 to January 2021. Renske supported professors as a Student Assistant at the University of Twente from September 2013 to April 2019 and engaged in a case study designing a cutting tool for Van Reekum Materials B.V. during a study tour in South Korea and Japan. Previous academic achievements include a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Industrial Design Engineering from the University of Twente, complemented by education at Linköping University and secondary education at Meander College.
