Gaétan Lavallière, P.Geo. Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the mining industry, beginning in 1984 as an Analytical Geochemist for Noranda Group (Laboratory Horne Smelter). Gaétan then moved on to be a Production Geologist for Selbaie Mines (BP, ESSO, TransCanada Pipelines) in 1988. In 1989, they became an Exploration Geologist for Noranda Minerals Inc. (Matagami Mines). From 1994 to 2006, they were Regional Exploration Manager for SOQUEM INC. Gaétan then became Exploration Manager for Canadian Royalties inc. in 2006, and General Manager for MISA GROUP in 2007. Finally, they have been Vice-President for Cartier Resources Inc. since 2011.

Gaétan Lavallière, P.Geo. Ph.D. has an extensive educational background. Gaétan obtained their Ph.D. in Mineral Resources from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi in 1995, with a focus on Metallogeny and Optimisation of Mining Exploration Strategies Related. Additionally, they earned an Economic Geology degree from the Université de Montréal in 1989.
