Kaileen Smith

Kaileen Smith began their career in 2015 as an Illustrator for City on a Hill Press, where they worked with reporters and editors to create images that complimented and supplemented articles, as well as creating covers for multiple issues. In 2017, they became a Studio Intern at Kala Art Institute. In 2016, they took on the role of Cartographer at Civil Maps, where their duties included drawing and semantic annotation of 3D maps of roads, cities, and other civic spaces using a browser-based web application. Finally, in 2018, Smith became the Design Lead at Cartifact, Inc.

Kaileen Smith attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Art/Art Studies, General.
