Danay Gonzalez

Danay Gonzalez has been working in the tech industry since 2008. In 2011, they began working as a Senior J2EE Engineer at CGI, where they were involved in the analysis, design, and implementation of the SAGA Ferrovial Toll Platform Control. In 2014, they moved to Broad Business Consulting as a QlikView Consultant, where they interacted with end-users to collect requirements, trained and provided support to end users, and performed analysis and documentation for calculation for various attributes. In 2015, they joined Future Space S.A. as a Data Engineer and QlikView Consultant, where they managed Big Data projects, designed and developed a user discovery big data platform, and implemented and supported QlikView dashboards. In 2016, they moved to GMV as a Product Owner and Project Manager, where they managed and led Big Data projects, controlled budgets, and provided technical collaboration for proposals. Danay also worked as a Senior Data Engineer, designing, developing, and maintaining the Hadoop Ecosystem platform, developing real-time ingestion, and developing analytical processes against bank fraud. In 2020, they joined CARTO as a Project Manager Team Lead, where they lead projects from a technical point of view, controls budgets, and communicates with clients.

Danay Gonzalez completed a Máster INFTEL in Informática Aplicada a las Telecomunicaciones Móviles from Universidad de Málaga between 2010 and 2011. In 2017 and 2018, they completed an Executive MBA from Escuela de Organización Industrial. In 2005-2009, they obtained an Ingeniería Técnica in Informática de Gestión from Universidad de Málaga. In June 2021, they obtained a First Certificate in English from Cambridge Assessment English.
