Daria Kolarczyk has a wealth of experience in marketing and business development. Daria is currently serving as the Head of Demand Generation for CARTO, a role they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they were the Marketing Manager IoT for Canonical, where they drove marketing strategy and execution for IoT products and services for multiple markets. Daria also owned IoT and silicon partner marketing campaigns from initial scope through execution and refinement.
Before joining Canonical, Daria held various positions at AVSystem, a B2B software vendor specializing in telco and IoT products. Daria served as the Marketing Director from 2015 to 2021, where they oversaw global marketing and communications plans and guided and motivated a team of seven full-time specialists. Daria also introduced agile methodology to streamline processes and increase productivity. Before becoming Marketing Director, they held the role of Marketing Manager, Product Marketing Manager, Senior Business Development Specialist, and Business Development Assistant, specializing in the regions of Middle East and Africa.
Daria Kolarczyk is currently enrolled in the Msc Marketing program at the University of Glasgow Adam Smith Business School, with an expected graduation date of 2023. Prior to that, they studied Arabic Language and Literature at Jagiellonian University from 2014 to 2017. Daria also attended II Liceum Ogólnokształcące z oddziałami dwujęzycznymi im. Marii Konopnickiej w Katowicach, where they completed a bilingual Spanish profile. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including an Advanced Open Water Diver from PADI in May 2022, an Introduction to SQL for BigQuery and Cloud SQL from Coursera in May 2022, a Create a Go-to-Market Plan from LinkedIn in February 2022, a Titulo de Bachiller in June 2014, a Certificate of Proficiency in English from Cambridge English Language Assessment in 2012, and an Open Water Diver from PADI.
