Tobin W. McGilligan

Tobin W. McGilligan has a diverse work experience beginning in 2011 with Madison School and Community Recreation (MSCR) as an Instructor-Lifeguard and eventually becoming a Site Director. In 2013, they founded the McGilligan Branch of Student Painters (Young Entrepreneurs Across America) and served as the Branch Manager. In 2015, they were hired as a Residence Life House Fellow (Resident Assistant) for the Division of University Housing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2016, they worked as a Bagger/Checker & Maintenance/Utility Clerk at Woodman's Food Markets and as Webmaster at SexOutLoud (University of Wisconsin-Madison). In 2017, they were a Local Registration Authority IT Assistant Intern at the U.S. Department of State and a Geospatial Technician and Survey Field Crew Technician at Continental Mapping Consultants. In 2018, they were a Data Analyst & Cartographer at CPCS - Solutions for Growing Economies. Tobin W. McGilligan's most recent work experience is as a Project Manager at CARTO, which they began in 2022.

Tobin W. McGilligan obtained their High School Diploma from Madison West High School in 2013. Tobin W. then attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Cartography/GIS & Geography in 2017. During their time in college, they also studied at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2016-2017. In 2014, they obtained certifications in Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED and Water Safety Instructor from the American Red Cross.
