John Lawrence

John Lawrence has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. John currently serves as the President and Managing Member of JOLA Capital Advisors, LLC since 2016. Prior to this, they were a Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman at Superior Pine Products Company since 2001.

In 2020, John Lawrence took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at CartoFront. Additionally, they have been an Advisory Board Member at Topping Capital, LLC since 2015.

From 2011 to 2014, John Lawrence held the position of Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Surgery Partners, LLC. During their tenure, they were responsible for handling all legal matters for the healthcare services business, including acquisitions, divestitures, and other operational aspects. John joined Surgery Partners through its merger with NovaMed, Inc., where they also served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel from 1996 to 2011. At NovaMed, they played a crucial role in the company's growth, from a start-up to a publicly traded company.

Prior to their roles at NovaMed and Surgery Partners, John Lawrence worked as an Attorney at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP from 1995 to 1996 and at Seyfarth Shaw from 1992 to 1995.

John Lawrence attended the University of Michigan from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. John then went on to study at the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law from 1989 to 1992, obtaining a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
