Helen Contreras has a diverse work experience across various industries. Helen started their career as a Dental Assistant at Gloria Kidz Dental, where they provided assistance to dentists, translated documents for Spanish-speaking patients, and maintained dental health records. Helen created programs to support first-generation Latina students, managed social media pages, planned events, and interpreted data. Helen also worked as a Donor Relations Intern at Special Olympics Maryland, where they reconstructed marketing campaigns, updated donation reports, and assisted in board communication. Helen then joined Anne Arundel County Health Department as a Coordinator of Special Programs, where they collaborated in the COVID-19 vaccine campaign, managed medical cases, and established relationships with organizations and facilities.
