Jeremy Gunter

Jeremy Gunter has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jeremy is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Cartwheel since February 2023. Prior to this, Jeremy worked as a Tech Lead at Spring Health from January 2023 to February 2023, and as a Senior Software Engineer I from March 2022 to January 2023.

Before Spring Health, Jeremy held positions at Freshly as a Technical Lead from February 2021 to March 2022, where they were responsible for designing and implementing an order fulfillment system, developing internal tools, and leading development projects. Jeremy also worked as a Software Engineer at Freshly from February 2019 to February 2021.

Jeremy started their career as a Software Engineer at Ackmann & Dickenson from September 2016 to February 2019. Prior to that, they co-owned and worked as a Sales Manager at Gold Bead Apparel, LLC. from 2011 to January 2017.

Additionally, Jeremy worked at Tech Talent South as a Code Immersion Instructor from August 2015 to September 2016, teaching programming languages such as HTML/CSS, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and JavaScript/AJAX. Jeremy also briefly served as a student at Tech Talent South in May 2015.

In the early stages of their career, Jeremy worked as a Licensed Agent at US Health Advisors from August 2012 to March 2014, and as a Southwest Regional Sales Representative at INEwear Custom Designs from October 2008 to August 2012.

Jeremy Gunter attended various educational institutions and obtained certifications in different fields. From 2002 to 2006, they attended Navarro College and obtained an Associate of Science degree in Psychology. Jeremy then went on to Stephen F. Austin State University from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Kinesiology.

In 2015, Jeremy attended Tech Talent South, where they studied Ruby/Ruby-on-Rails, JavaScript, HTML/CSS. Although they did not receive a degree from this institution, they gained knowledge in these areas.

Jeremy furthered their education from 2016 to 2018 at freeCodeCamp, where they completed a Full Stack Web Development program, specializing in Computer Software Engineering.

Additionally, Jeremy has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills. In 2019, they received the "Advanced JavaScript" certification from TylerMcGinnis.com. In the same year, they also obtained the "Modern JavaScript" certification from the same institution. In 2015, Jeremy achieved Duolingo certifications in French fluency at the elementary and intermediate levels, as well as Portuguese fluency at the elementary and beginner levels. Jeremy also completed a course titled "Ruby Programming for Beginners" on Udemy, as well as courses titled "Shaping up with Angular.js" and "Testing with RSpec" on Code School.
