Matias Korkka

Matias Korkka is an experienced professional in the energy sector with a strong background in business process development and operations management. At Caruna since September 2014, Matias has held multiple roles, including Asiakkuuspäällikkö for connection services, Process Owner for customer orders, and Manager of process and service development. Responsibilities have included leading business process changes at a corporate level, managing a field work digitalization program, and overseeing a team of eleven business specialists. Previous experience includes roles as an Operations Service Specialist and Operations Planner, where Matias focused on developing operational processes, customer communication, and switch planning for various voltage levels. Matias holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Aalto University, with a Master’s Thesis on earth fault currents in medium voltage grids. Earlier roles include team leadership at Slush and operations engineering positions at Fortum and Lahti Energia Oy.
