Safiya Carr

Safiya Carr, MBA, is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in underwriting and credit analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Underwriter at Carver Federal Savings Bank since December 2015, Safiya specializes in structuring and negotiating loans for businesses, individuals, and non-profit organizations. Prior experience includes a role as a Commercial Credit Analyst at City National Bank of New Jersey, where credit evaluations were performed, and credit analysis was presented to senior management. Previously, Safiya worked as a Senior Credit Analyst II at Bank of America, making credit decisions and analyzing financial documents, and began the career as a Relationship Representative at the same institution, focusing on client debt management.
