Regen Gallagher, DO, MBA, CPE has extensive work experience in the medical field. Regen currently holds various roles at Cary Medical Center, including Chief Medical Officer, Chief Compliance Officer, Physician Advisor, Patient Safety Officer, and Risk Manager. Regen has been with Cary Medical Center since 2012. Prior to joining Cary Medical Center, they worked as a Physician Advisor at Executive Health Resources from 2011 to 2012. Before that, they held several positions at Cary Medical Center, including Chief of Medical Staff, Physician Advisor - Case Management, and Medical Staff Vice President from 2008 to 2010. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Obstetrician Gynecologist at Pines Health Services from 2006 to 2010 and at Ob/Gyn Specialists of Columbus, PC from 2004 to 2006.

Regen Gallagher earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Medical Biology from the University of New England from 1991 to 1995. From 1995 to 1999, they pursued their Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree at the same university.

Following that, they completed an Osteopathic Rotating Internship at Mercy Suburban Hospital from 1999 to 2000. Later, from 2000 to 2004, they attended Midwestern University for an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program.

In 2008, Regen Gallagher enrolled in the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, where they pursued an MBA degree in Medical Management, completing the program in 2010.

Regen Gallagher also holds additional certifications. Regen obtained certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the American Osteopathic Association in December 2018. Prior to that, in September 2017, they earned the Certified Physician Executive credential from the CERTIFYING COMMISSION IN MEDICAL MANAGEMENT INC.
