Steven Furgiuele is an experienced professional in the culinary and people management sectors, currently serving as the Manager of People & Culture at Carya since July 2023 and previously holding positions within the organization as People & Culture Lead and People & Culture Coordinator. As a co-owner of Fuge Sausage since April 2022, Steven focuses on creative consulting and product development. Prior to this, Steven held the role of Chef and Manager at OTTO Food & Drink from September 2018 to August 2022, earning numerous accolades, including multiple awards from Avenue Magazine and Eat Local Magazine. Steven also owned FUGE Fine Meat Inc. from 2015 to 2018 and managed various roles at Culina Mill Creek and the Prince of Wales Hotel. Steven holds a diploma in Culinary Management from Canadore College and a certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of Alberta.
