Innovation Informatics Engineer at CAS

Brent Weiss, MPH has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations.

Starting in 2017, they worked as an Industry Sponsored Student Research Assistant at Battelle until February 2018.

In 2016, they served as a Research Assistant in the Agarwal Lab, where they conducted research until June 2018.

From November 2018 to May 2019, they worked as a Student eLearning Assistant at Ohio Distance Education and eLearning.

In May 2019, Brent joined CAS as an Innovation Intern, where they contributed to the evaluation and synthesis of internal and external data to develop insights for Innovation initiatives. Brent continued with CAS and took on the role of Innovation Informatics Engineer in September 2020. In this position, they are responsible for analyzing opportunities, collaborating with the Innovation team, and coordinating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to advance initiatives.

Brent Weiss, MPH, has a strong educational background in healthcare and biomedical studies. Brent pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering at The Ohio State University from 2013 to 2017. Building upon their undergraduate education, Brent successfully completed their Master's of Public Health degree with a concentration in Biomedical Informatics at The Ohio State University from 2018 to 2020. Brent'seducational journey reflects a commitment to understanding and enhancing healthcare systems through the intersection of engineering and public health.
