Drew Norman

UX Designer at CAS

Drew Norman has a comprehensive work experience in various industries. Drew is currently working as a UX Designer at CAS since May 2022. Prior to that, they were employed by Amazon as an Associate and UX Designer from August 2020.

Drew also served as the IT Director for 180 Ministries from February 2009 to August 2020, where they were responsible for web development and the creation of mobile apps. In this role, they developed the ministry's websites and implemented a donation e-commerce site that accepted payments through Stripe and PayPal.

Before joining 180 Ministries, Drew worked as a Senior Drupal Developer at Highlights for Children from September 2019 to January 2020. Drew also held the position of a Wordpress Developer and Email Marketing Director at FAITH LIFE CHURCH INC from January 2018 to August 2019, where they specialized in active campaign and Mailchimp, Optin Monster, and custom LMS Wordpress Plugin development.

Prior to that, Drew worked at IBM as a Senior Web Application Developer from February 2008 to August 2017. Drew was also a Web Marketing Manager at Franklin University from November 2007 to January 2008, overseeing the web marketing team and CMS maintenance.

In addition, Drew has experience as a Flash Developer at Mills James Productions from July 2007 to December 2007, and as an Art Director at WRL Advertising, where they managed a large healthcare account and demonstrated expertise in graphic design, web design, and various software tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, among others.

Drew Norman began their education at Waynedale High School from 1985 to 1989, where they pursued studies in Art/Art Studies, General. After completing high school, from 1989 to 1991, they attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Design and Visual Communications, General.

In addition to their formal education, Drew Norman has also obtained several certifications. In 2008, they completed a course on Web & Interactive Development at Mills James. In 2015, they acquired the certification in WordPress: Building Responsive Themes from Lynda.com. Drew then obtained the Blender Essential Training certification from Lynda.com in 2017. In the same year, they also completed the Programming Foundations: Object-Oriented Design course from Lynda.com and became a certified Service Now System Administrator through ServiceNow. Lastly, they have a certification in Angular 2 from Lynda.com, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
