Software Engineer - Content Engine at CAS

Michele Parsley-Lanning D.O. has had a varied work experience. Michele started their career as a General Chemistry Tutor at Shawnee State University from May 2009 to May 2010. Michele then worked as a Staff Radiologic Technologist at Adena Regional Medical Ctr from August 2004 to June 2013. Following this, they served as an Internal Medicine Physician specializing in outpatient and inpatient care at Riverside Methodist Hospital from July 2017 to March 2019. Michele then moved on to work as a Community Coordinator at Tech Talent South from October 2019 to January 2020. Most recently, they have held two positions at CAS. Starting in April 2020, they worked as a Junior Software Engineer under their Talent Acceleration Program until July 2022. From July 2022 to the present, they have held the role of Software Engineer - Content Engine at CAS.

Michele Parsley-Lanning D.O. completed a Code Immersion Bootcamp and Big Data Analytics program at Tech Talent South in 2019, where they studied full-stack web development in Java, as well as big data analytics and machine learning. In the same year, they also completed the Java Programming Masterclass for Software Developers at Udemy.

Michele then pursued their medical education at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine from 2013 to 2017, earning a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Biology degree from Shawnee State University in 2011. Their field of study in the bachelor's program focused on biomedical sciences, with a minor in chemistry.

Additionally, Michele holds an Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology/Science - Radiographer, which they acquired from Shawnee State University in 2004.

In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from CAS in October 2021.
