Mike Shih

Mike Shih has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Mike most recently worked at CAS as a Lead Network Engineer since October 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Sr. Infrastructure Engineer Networking at CAS from November 2017 to October 2022.

Before joining CAS, Mike was a Network Engineer, Mergers and Acquisitions, Enterprise Information Technology at Cardinal Health from August 2016 to November 2017. Mike was responsible for various tasks, including M&A site network integration, serving as the Solution Owner of Tech Refresh on an international APAC project, and acting as a Solution Architect for international APAC projects.

From December 2012 to July 2016, Mike held the position of Director of Information Technology at the Columbus Museum of Art.

Prior to that, they worked at Northwest Title as a Director of Technical Operation and Sr. System Administrator from August 2003 to December 2012. In this role, they implemented VMWare vSphere Hypervisor and vCloud, conducted server and workstation virtualization, and utilized Windows Hyper-V virtualization.

From April 2001 to August 2003, Mike was employed at Franklin University as a Computer Science Lab System Administrator. Mike'sresponsibilities included managing and maintaining servers, performing troubleshooting, and developing shell scripting for automation.

In addition, Mike worked at Bioworld as a Network and Database Administrator from November 2002 to March 2003. Mike handled the setup, management, and maintenance of various servers and databases, as well as the development of an online store using ASP with MS SQL database.

Mike Shih completed their education in the field of Computer Science. In 2000, they started their Bachelor of Science degree at Franklin University and graduated in 2002. Subsequently, in 2003, Mike pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, which they completed in 2004. Furthermore, Mike holds a certification in CCNA Routing and Switching from Cisco, although the specific month and year of obtaining the certification are unknown.
