Ricardo Gutierrez-Alvarez has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2015, they worked as a Deboning Production Team Member at Bowman & Landes Turkeys, Inc., where they learned precise cutting and cleaning techniques. Ricardo then became a Student Tutor at America Reads*America Counts in 2016, providing math and reading assistance to elementary students. In 2017, they held multiple roles, including Front Desk Staff at NYU Athletics, Office Assistant at Residential Life and Housing Services NYU, and Student Library Supervisor at NYU Libraries, where they trained and supervised front desk workers and managed resource distribution.

In 2018, Ricardo worked as a Front-End Web Developer for thirdspacejournal.org, maintaining and publishing content for a student-run medical online journal. Ricardo also served as a Greenhouse Assistant at Spring Hill Nursery & Gardens in 2020, preparing plants for distribution. At Norwood Medical in 2019, they worked as a Machine Operator, ensuring optimal operation of milling machines and producing parts meeting specifications.

In 2021, Ricardo became a Software Development Consultant at Manifest Solutions, completing a comprehensive Agile programming course and developing a real-world product. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at CAS, contributing to the development and improvement of software using various technologies.

Throughout their work experience, Ricardo has demonstrated skills in programming, software development, customer service, supervision, and resource management.

Ricardo Gutierrez-Alvarez completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2022, the IBM Full-Stack Cloud Developer from Coursera in January 2022, the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in January 2022, and the Fundamentals of Network Security from Palo Alto Networks in March 2021.
