Sabina Scott Mph

Sabina Scott, MPH, PhD has a diverse work experience in various fields. Sabina currently works as a Business Analyst at CAS since February 2023. Prior to this role, they served as an Information Scientist at CAS from April 2021 to February 2023. Sabina started their career at CAS as a Scientific Information Research Specialist in July 2019 and worked there until April 2021.

In addition, Sabina has teaching experience as a Biology Lecturer at The Ohio State University since September 2021. Sabina also worked as an Adjunct Professor and Learning Support Specialist II at Columbus State Community College from January 2019 to February 2023 and January 2019 to August 2022 respectively.

Sabina's work history also includes being the Hospital and Hospice Chair at the Butterfly Guild of Nationwide Children's Hospital from September 2017 to July 2019. Sabina worked as a Biological Research Assistant 2 at the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital & Solove Research Institute from June 2016 to July 2019.

Moreover, Sabina gained experience as a Health Services Coordinator at Prime Home Care LLC from March 2018 to August 2018. In 2017, Sabina enrolled in Tomsk State University and obtained a Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry from 2017 to 2019. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at Kazakhstan Medical University "KSPH," completing it in 2018.

Continuing their studies at Tomsk State University, Sabina embarked on a Ph.D. program in Biology from 2017, which they are expected to complete in 2022.

Additionally, Sabina has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In 2016, they completed the "Working with IACUC, Lab animal research" certification from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative. In 2018, they obtained the "Biomedical Responsible Conduct of Research" certification from the same institution.

Sabina further expanded their knowledge and skills by obtaining the "National Geographic Certified Educator" certification from National Geographic in 2019. More recently, in 2021, they achieved the "Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB)" certification from CAS.

Outside of their formal education, Sabina also pursued a passion for music, earning a degree as a Pianist from the Musical School Elim-Ai from 2000 to 2007.
