Scott McNeal

Scott McNeal has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Scott is currently the Director of Content Technology at CAS, where they lead a team of experts who curate, connect, and analyze scientific knowledge. Prior to this, Scott was the Vice President of IT at Terex Corporation, where they transformed the IT department into a strategic business partner. Scott also worked at Apptio as a Senior Customer Success Advisor, driving adoption and value expansion for customers using the platform. Scott has held several CIO positions at GE, including Chief Information Officer for GE Distributed Power Services and Client Chief Information Officer for GE Oil & Gas and GE Power & Water. In these roles, they developed systems strategies, enabled enterprise solutions, and drove digital transformations. Scott also has experience in manufacturing, having worked at GE Silicones and GE Plastics, where they implemented process improvements and automated manufacturing systems. Scott McNeal's education history begins with their enrollment in the 1992 High School Honors Science Program. Following this, they attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. After their undergraduate studies, Scott participated in the Crotonville Alumni's Experienced Information Management Program, concluding their education in 2013. Additionally, Scott obtained the certification of Certified Technology Business Management Executive from the Technology Business Management Council in January 2016.
