Luísa Bessa

Luisa Bessa is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in institutional relations and fundraising, currently serving at Casa da Música since June 2010. Previously, Luisa held the position of Directora-Adjunta at Jornal de Negócios from November 2002 to August 2008 and was the Directora de Relações Públicas at Porto 2001 from May 1998 to August 2002. Luisa began a career in journalism at Jornal de Notícias, working as a journalist and editor in politics and economics from August 1980 to November 1988, followed by a role at Público as a journalist and economic editor from September 1989 to January 1997. Luisa's educational background includes studies in psychology at Faculdade de Psicologia, Universidade do Porto, from 1982 to 1987.
