An experienced attorney and lobbyist, Kim directs the development of communications and advocacy capacity, and oversaw the launch of CASA’s 501c4 sister organization, CASA in Action. She is the architect behind many of CASA’s successful issue campaigns for immigrant and workers rights. Kim was named a Washington Post legislative power player during the 2009 General Assembly session, a Washington Post Prince George’s County Edition ‘Person to Watch’ in 2004. and received the Daily Record Leadership in Law award in 2003. She has an undergraduate degree in Women’s Studies, as well as a law degree, from SUNY Buffalo.
