Joanna Li is currently a Community Engagement Representative at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Previously, Joanna has worked as a Medical Interpreter and Coordinator at Casa de Salud and HPES respectively. Joanna has a background in research, having been a Research Assistant at Washington University School of Medicine and completing internships at Indiana University School of Medicine, Overlook Medical Center, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, and Nationwide Children's Hospital. Joanna has a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at Washington University School of Medicine.

Casa de Salud
Casa de Salud (Casa) is a non-profit health clinic located in the City of St. Louis. Casa opened its doors in January 2010 with a mission to deliver high quality clinical and mental healthcare for uninsured and underinsured patients, focusing on new immigrants and refugees who encounter barriers to accessing other sources of care. Casa promotes better health outcomes through prevention and treatment, while also acting as a portal to other services through collaborations with many health and social service organizations in the metro St. Louis area.
