Marla Higginbotham

Marla Higginbotham is the Executive Director at CASA for Children of Essex County since January 2020, previously holding the same position at CASA of Union County. Prior to their role at CASA, Marla worked as the Senior Director of Operations and Foundation Relations at Jersey Cares. Marla holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Studies and Political Science with a sub-field in American Government from Northwestern University. Marla completed their high school education at Hathaway Brown School.
