Nicolás Argüello

Nicolás Argüello serves as the Chief Strategy & Impact Officer at Food For The Poor since September 2022 and has been an Advisor at Grupo Casa Pellas since December 2017. Previously, Nicolás held the position of Executive Director at the American Nicaraguan Foundation (ANF) from November 2014 to September 2022, where ANF became one of Nicaragua's leading relief and development organizations with average annual revenues of $37.6 million between 2017 and 2021. Nicolás has extensive experience in development projects, having served as a volunteer at Mentores Solidarios and held various roles from Deputy General Manager to Project Coordinator at ANF. Additional experience includes work as a Development Technology Consultant at DAI and an Agriculture Portfolio Associate at Acumen Fund. Nicolás holds an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, an MPA in Development Practice from Columbia SIPA, and a BA with Honors in Economics and Theology from the University of Notre Dame.
