Casa Viva serves children who need a full time living solution apart from their own families primarily because of abuse, abandonment, neglect or being orphaned. Our vision is to see these children connected to families in their own country.

Casa Viva encourages keeping children with their own families. However, once a separation has occurred, Casa Viva's families provide a temporary solution for the children, while the best long term alternative within the spectrum of care alternatives is established. Casa Viva promotes a full spectrum of care alternatives, starting with family reunification, then national adoption, then long term foster care before considering institutional forms of care.

Casa Viva engages churches to act on behalf of children. Casa Viva works closely with the national child welfare organizations to ensure that children's rights are withheld, and that the national laws are followed. Casa Viva establishes a national self sustaining management and financial model that does not create a long term dependence on international investment.

Casa Viva's Vision Statement: To follow God's lead while connecting children to families in the name of Jesus Christ.
