Marlene Venero Vélez

Marlene Venero Vélez has extensive experience in the advertising industry. Marlene is currently working at Casanova//McCann as an Associate Creative Director, starting in June 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Sr. Copywriter at Casanova//McCann from January 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Casanova//McCann, Marlene worked at WOW MKTG as a Sr. Copywriter from February 2019 to January 2021. Marlene also worked at Republica Havas as a Copywriter from November 2017 to February 2019.

Earlier in their career, Marlene held the position of Copywriter at BBDO Puerto Rico Inc. from June 2016 to October 2016. Marlene also worked as a Creative Copywriter at Kroma brand we build from March 2015 to June 2016.

Marlene Venero Vélez holds a Master's degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, Business from EAE Business School, which they obtained from 2016 to 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Creative Advertising from Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, which they completed from 2010 to 2014. Marlene also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Literature from Universidad de Puerto Rico in 2009 and 2010. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in "Introduction to Screenwriting" from Miami Dade College and "Google Certified" in June 2015.
