Carla MacEdo

Carla Macedo has extensive work experience in various roles related to sales planning, intelligence, and strategy. Carla is currently the Director of Planning and Commercial Strategy at Cielo since July 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Strategic Planning Director at Via Varejo SA starting from August 2020. Before that, they were the Sales Intelligence Manager at Lojas Marisa from October 2019 to February 2020. Carla also has experience at Saraiva as a Sales Operations Manager from August 2015 to October 2019. Carla previously worked at Via Varejo SA as a Commercial and Demand Planning Manager from July 2013 to June 2015, and as a Sales Planning and Intelligence Market Manager from March 2010 to July 2013. Carla also held roles at Grupo Pão de Açúcar - Ponto Frio as a Sales Administration and Operations Manager from April 2008 to March 2010, at Pontofrio as a Sales Intelligence Manager from March 2006 to April 2008, at Vivo as a Commercial Intelligence Manager from March 2004 to March 2006, and as a Market Research Analyst at Organizações Globo - Infoglobo from January 2000 to January 2002.

Carla Macedo has a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Marketing from UERJ, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. Carla also has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Retail Management from FIA - Fundação Instituto de Administração, completed in 2008. In 2012, Carla completed a specialization in Leadership 360º with Abilio Diniz at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Carla further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Gestão Executiva from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa in 2014. Additionally, Carla participated in an Executive Training program in Leadership and Administration Management with the Telefonica Moviles Group in Spain in 2004, and underwent an English immersion program at O.I.S.E in London in 2014.
