Cinthia Ruiz

Cinthia Ruiz, DSc, currently holds the position of Product/UX Manager at Grupo Casas Bahia since August 2021, previously serving as UX Manager and UX Lead. Prior experience includes contributions to Banco Central do Brasil as a member of the Open Banking experience group and a Senior UX Designer at Zoop. Cinthia has also worked as a UX/UI Design Consultant for TrendBi, focusing on BI dashboards for Ipiranga, utilizing agile methodologies. In academia, Cinthia has served as a professor at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and ESPM, teaching courses related to Information Architecture and Usability. Cinthia's educational background includes a Doctorate in Design from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, a Master's in Digital Arts from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and a degree in Industrial Design from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Additional experience includes project management at Metatron and a role as Design Manager at Compera nTime.
